The DVCE’s portfolio is focused on delivering key educational objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan 2022-2026. Over the next three years, the DVCE’s portfolio trajectory is centred on transforming curriculum design, work-integrated learning, assessment practices, and teaching methodologies to create a more inclusive, programmatic, and technologically adept learning environment.

The portfolio priorities encompass a wide range of initiatives, from leading a comprehensive Curriculum Transformation Program, to supporting the Educational Experience Project and developing Employability. The DVCE’s portfolio is committed to supporting the redesign of university-wide curriculum and assessment processes, providing extensive professional development opportunities, and implementing new policies that reflect contemporary educational needs. Additionally, the DVCE’s portfolio is working towards redefining academic integrity standards, supporting student transitions, and fostering self-regulated learning. Through these efforts, the DVCE’s portfolio aims to elevate the quality and effectiveness of education at ECU, ensuring that both educators and students are well-equipped to thrive in an evolving academic landscape.
